I have had the phone now for about 6 weeks, and for the amount I travel it has been by far the best investment I've ever made. I've abandoned my PC EV-DO card all together and use the phone as a modem via the sync cradle when I actually bother to pull my laptop out of it's bag. I bought an extra battery from Verizon which is was a mistake. You'll be much better off purchasing an aftermarket battery with longer life. The only time it really becomes an issue for me is on long flights, otherwise there's almost always a charging source available, thanks to the cradle, and my car charger. The one major gripe I have is that you can only set one ring tone for all of your contacts. I have an extensive wav file collection that I would like to use to customize for each of my contacts, but I haven't been able to find a way to do it. Does anybody know of any after market phone software that will allow me to do that.
